Gangtey Nature Trail
The Gangtey Nature Trail, located in the peaceful Phobjikha Valley, is one of Bhutans most beautiful and easy hikes. The 5Km/3Mile route takes two hours at a leisurely pace. The trail begins on the periphery of the sacred Gangtey Monastery and concludes at the 15th century Khewa Lhakhang, the track passes through pine forests, potato farming villages, black necked crane habitats and open pasture lands.
