Photography Tours in Bhutan

Photographers have needs that go beyond the typical tour. Planning for the right time of year, getting to locations at the right time of day and making the little bit extra effort to help create opportunities are what we know best.

We have honed our ability to support photographers through working closely with photo journalist Ewen Bell, who joins us every year for his customised and highly instructive Bhutan Photography Tours. If you can't join Ewen for one his scheduled trips, we can help you plan a private tour instead, just for you.

Our guides and drivers are very aware of the patience required to pursue your photography. We are accustomed to rising early for sunrises, staying late for sunsets, making long drives to quiet villages in search of cultural engagement, or simply picking excellent locations for overnight accommodation so you can get good rest and enjoy downtime when processing photos.

We know how to plan for stunning spectacles of the festivals, be in the right place for shooting cranes and other exotic bird life, and can arrange elaborate camping trips to get you far from the tourist route.
