Application form to apply for the “ReIMAGINE” photographic course. The program will run in Winter 2022 and last for an entire month. We will travel from Paro to Punakha and Phobjikha during that time, before returning to Paro again. There will be lots of discussion about the principles of photography, and access to new camera gear for you to experiment with. Exact details will be confirmed in early 2022.
This experience will be filmed as part of a potential TV documentary. The film crew will join the month long program and run a series of interviews to capture your experience and progress. In the event of the documentary being released commercially, a talent fee will also be paid.
Priority will be given to Novices, Monks and Lamas who are interested in expressing their Buddhist teachings through photography. The criteria for reviewing applications will be based on personality, desire to learn, the benefit to your development as a photographer and your ongoing connection to Buddhism.

Ewen Bell is a photographer based in Melbourne Australia, with two decades experience in teaching and mentoring photography. He is developing a new intensive photography program to help people step beyond the mechanics of cameras, and into the spirit of photography as a form of expression.
Ewen is seeking participants who have a genuine desire to learn more about photography, and to tell their stories with the camera.
